Dr. Ross Neder must be one of the few successful individualists remaining who is ardently true to what he considers important without regard to compromise. He has had varied career interests and has practiced as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in private practice for 10 years achieving a national reputation. At the same time he began working glass artistically, mostly to survive the rigors of his clinical practice.
His art is widely recognized by galleries and collectors all over the world for its scale, vibrancy, and fluidity. What is not commonly known is that he produces these works solo, nearly unheard of in the glass community for pieces this size. In fact, he possesses a sort of folklore status among those artists who have watched him work. He has designed and fabricated the tools, technology, method, and style to produce these genuinely unique works of art.
He believes that the glass is simply a medium to produce the "look at me" response he tries to build into every piece he creates.
